Jesus Is GOD

Jesus is God of both Old and New testament. in fact, He is the fulfillment of the prophecies of the OT that God will manifest in flesh.

Isaiah 9:6-7 Isaiah, who lived 700 years before the time of Jesus, gave a prophecy about a "son" who would be called "Mighty God." Jesus fulfills this prophecy by being God incarnate as a man. Jesus is fully human and fully God. He is the Son of God. As such, he is both "son" and "Mighty God."

Isaiah 7:14- will be a born of a virgin
Micah 5:2 - will be born in Bethlehem
Genesis 12:3; 18:18 - will be a descendant of Abraham
Psalm 16:10,11 - will be resurrected
Psalm 22 - will be crucified
Psalm 22:17 and 34:20 - bones will not be broken although traditionally they do.

and many more. these prophecies prove Jesus' uniqueness among other prophets. all of it are fulfilled by Jesus in the NT.

God's purpose to incarnate Himself to man is to unite earth to heaven. mission of the Son's coming included a plan that would enable man to see and know himself as God sees and knows him. God wanted show His love and compassion to His creation by being one of them. and of course to redeem us.

The following Scriptures, given the character of Jesus Christ, are only logically explained on the basis of His deity:

-I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I AM!" (John 8:58)
-All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you. (John 16:15)
-Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him. (John 3:36)
-I and the Father are One. (John 10:30)
-He who has seen Me, has seen the Father. (John 14:9)
-[The Father has entrusted all judgments to the Son] that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him. (John 5:23)
-"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."Jn 1:1."And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us"Jn 1:14
-"For this is how God loved the world: He gave his unique Son so that everyone who believes in him might not be lost but have eternal life.John 3:16
-"Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins."John 8:24
